About Us
At the African Unity-Community Transformation Coalition (AU-CTC), we are driven by a passionate commitment to uplift and transform the lives of refugees, immigrants, and impoverished communities in Africa and around the world. As a voluntary, international, non-political, and impartial organization, we proudly stand as a 501(c)(3) registered non-profit entity, founded in California by a dynamic group of young African multidisciplinary professionals, including lawyers, engineers, psychologists, health experts, and more.
Our mission is to tackle the pressing challenges stemming from the heightened levels of poverty in African countries and the escalating numbers of African immigrants and refugees globally due to conflict. We believe that the key to meaningful and lasting change lies in collaborative efforts. Thus, we dedicate ourselves to working hand in hand with ethnic-based communities, religious organizations, corporations, business groups, and governmental bodies.
We aim to deliver comprehensive support that addresses the socio-economic, health, and legal challenges faced by individuals and families, both in the U.S and their home countries. Our approach is holistic, recognizing that true transformation requires attention to all aspects of a person’s life.
The foundation of our work is built on the principles of empathy, respect, and empowerment. We strive to not only provide aid but also to equip individuals and communities with the tools and resources they need to foster self-sufficiency and sustainable development.
At AU-CTC, we see the potential for a brighter future where poverty is alleviated, and individuals are provided the opportunity to thrive. We invite you to join us in this noble endeavor. Your participation and support are crucial to our mission, as we work together to make a lasting impact on the lives of those who need it most. Together, we can build a world of hope, dignity, and opportunity for all.
